Statement of Environmental Effects
A Statement of Environmental Effects (SoEE) is a document that is required with every development application.
The report details and explains the likely impacts caused by the proposed development both during and after construction and the proposed measures to mitigate these impacts.
Some of the areas included in the report would be, site suitablility, present and previous uses of the land, compliance with development standards, as well as privacy issues and overshadowing for adjoining properties.

Planning Statements
Each council will prepare a Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS). Council Lodgements
If your building project does not fall under Exempt Development or Complying Development, you'll need to lodge a Development Application (DA) with your local council. Lodgement is the formal start in requesting for permission to carry out a proposed development, including building and subdivision.
